The Regional SACT Governance Hub is a professional collaboration service for authorised staff involved in the governance of systemic anti-cancer therapy protocols. Sankey Limited operates and maintains the service.
Information we use
We process account and professional information needed to provide and secure the service, including name, work email address, organisation or Trust, job role, tumour-area membership, application permissions, authentication identifiers and security audit records.
The service records professional contributions to protocol governance, such as authorship, review decisions, approvals, tasks and implementation updates. It is not designed to store patient-identifiable information, and users must not enter patient-identifiable information.
Why we use it
- To authenticate approved users and manage access
- To support protocol development, review, approval and publication
- To preserve accountability and an auditable governance history
- To send service, workflow and security notifications
- To maintain the security, reliability and integrity of the service
Lawful basis and responsibilities
Participating organisations are responsible for determining the appropriate lawful basis for their staff's use of the Hub. Sankey Limited acts as service operator and will document controller and processor responsibilities with participating organisations as adoption arrangements are formalised.
Hosting and suppliers
The application and database are hosted using Microsoft Azure services in the United Kingdom. Microsoft identity services may be used for organisational sign-in. Approved users may also use a one-time code delivered to their registered work email address.
Retention and access
Account information is retained while access is active and for an appropriate period afterwards for security and governance purposes. Protocol governance and audit records may need to be retained for the life of the protocol and any required organisational retention period. Access is restricted according to approved roles.
Your rights and contact
Questions, requests or concerns about personal information can be sent to support@sacthub.co.uk. We may need to coordinate a response with the relevant participating organisation.
